This blog demonstrates aspects of an ongoing placement carried-out as part of a third-year Sport Development & Coaching university assignment. The intentions of this blog are to provide a critical overview and discuss how theoretical concepts are related directly to the placement.
This page provides a precise, accessible and useful introduction to the coaching placement at North Kesteven School, Lincoln. The placement is centred around delivering a 20 hour programme of multi-skills sessions to a year 7 group as part of an extra-curricular club.

This blog will:
- Provide details of the placement and the participants involved in the programme.
- Show details of a needs analysis that was conducted before the start of the programme and discuss the outcomes of this analysis at length.
- Present various schemes of work to demonstrate how the aims of the project have progressed and adapted throughout the placement.

- Offer post-session discussions to demonstrate how successful the session was and comment upon any issues that had to be overcame.
- Provide an overall evaluation of the programme, detailing any strengths or weaknesses and providing future recommendations of how the programme may be improved.
- Present any additional data that was used to support the completion of the placement.
