After completion of the needs analysis, a 20 hour scheme of work was designed  to structure the entire programme. The results of the needs analysis and supervisor interview indicated that the ‘personal’ aspect was a major strength of the group and as such, it needed not to be assessed further, and therefore it was omitted from the placement. Following the omission, the placement consisted of three main areas, these were: cognitive, social and creative. Furthermore, the results of the needs analysis and the placement supervisor’s interview (at the school) indicated that the psychological (cognitive) area was the one that required most attention. As such, this is reflected in the following scheme of work.
